Lonely - A music video with outfits that costed more than the cost of production

Several people are talking about how the fashion in 2NE1's most recent music video for Lonely, was more expensive than the cost of the music video production itself.

Netizens were astounded to find out that the cost of the outfits had exceeded the cost of production, with the outfits costing a total of 200 000 000 Won (Approximately $200 000) while the cost of production for Lonely only totalled 150 000 000 won.

The clothes that 2NE1 had worn in their new music video for Lonely were of the brand 'Balmain', a brand that was launched in 1945 by the designer Pierre Balmain. In 2006, he recruited Christophe Decarnin, and has become a hot trend amongst designer labels, with musicians such as Kanye West, Madonna, Beyonce, Rihanna, etc. sporting their line. Out of all the brands presently, this brand is renowned as a high-end brand within the highest price range.

Representatives spoke a bit about 2NE1's outfits, "It was originally an extremely expensive brand and out of all fashion labels, this brand almost never sponsors celebrities. Sometimes, they would sponsor actors for award ceremonies or other special performances however for the past few years, out of all the singers, they would only graciously sponsor 2NE1."
